Alas, spring has finally commenced. Flowers are blooming, the weather is warming up, and even the birds are sounding more cheerful. But that could just be my creative imagination. Another spring essential worth discussing, is wardrobe. If you’re anything like me, saving money is a necessity. With that being said, it can be extremely difficult updating your wardrobe for spring. But fear not penny pinchers. All one needs, is to know where to look. With being said, I’ve uncovered five, chic items, which will transform your look for spring in a cinch. Oh, and did I mention? They’re all under $100! Advertisements
We can all agree that dresses are a key staple for spring apparel. And if you’re anything like me; then you understand how important it is to look fabulous without breaking the bank. Even though I have an immense love for luxury brands, you won’t find me in Saks or Barney’s every weekend shopping like a Kardashian. Instead, you can find me scouring local thrift stores and flea markets for unique and original pieces at an incredible deal. Despite what you might think, it is actually possible to score fabulous clothing at a stellar price. You just have to know where to look. So I’ve searched the web for the most stylish dresses at a reasonable price. What I came up with is a collection of chic dresses that will you completely speechless. Enjoy!
One of my favorite trends to look forward to this spring is none other than the wide-leg trouser. As I predicted a few weeks ago, this trend was sure to be huge come spring 2014, and sure enough; they were seen everywhere during Paris Fashion Week. The trend is a slight throwback to old Hollywood glamour. Think Katherine Hepburn meets Veronica Lake. To celebrate this particular trend, I’ve decided to compile three looks which incorporates the trend altogether. Which is your favorite?
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you all have more exciting plans than I do. Recently, my Friday nights have consisted of Chinese takeout and multiple hours of Netflix screening. What can I say, endless episodes of Orange is the New Black have me hooked. Since I haven’t done one of these in awhile, I thought it was about time I started it back up. For this “One Item, Two Ways” post, I decided to use a 3.1 Phillip Lim jacket which I think goes perfectly with almost anything in ones closet. I chose to do a West Coast, East Thing since I’m a fan of both styles. Preferably, I feel that the West Coast has a more casual feel to it which is exactly how I styled it. Living in the East Coast, I’ve noticed one’s idea of “casual” is a bit more sophisticated. Either way, I love the outcome of both and would totally wear either one.
