Favorite Looks From Coachella

As Coachella sadly ended last weeks, so did the bohemian-infused ensembles. Gone were the cowboy boots, ultra-short denim shorts, flower headbands, and tribal incorporated maxi dresses. But there’s no need to be upset about such an occurrence. Thankfully, every stylish moment was captured on camera and will live on forever through pictures. Below are a couple of my favorite celebrity looks from the event. There’s literally enough Native American-inspired looks to keep us hooked until next year. Which are your favorites? Advertisements

5 Spring Dresses Under $100

We can all agree that dresses are a key staple for spring apparel. And if you’re anything like me; then you understand how important it is to look fabulous without breaking the bank. Even though I have an immense love for luxury brands, you won’t find me in Saks or Barney’s every weekend shopping like a Kardashian. Instead, you can find me scouring local thrift stores and flea markets for unique and original pieces at an incredible deal. Despite what you might think, it is actually possible to score  fabulous clothing at a stellar price. You just have to know where to look. So I’ve searched the web for the most stylish dresses at a reasonable price. What I came up with is a collection of chic dresses that will you completely speechless. Enjoy!

Heel Candy: Shoe-Spotting During Paris Fashion Week

Paris Fashion Week, (if you’re fortunate to get invited), is quite the fashion mecca for all fashionistas nationwide. It is, in my opinion, the best of all the Fashion Weeks combined. It is at Paris Fashion Week where stylistas don’t hold back. They’re willing to go that extra mile when it comes to clothing, accessories, and shoes! Thankfully for the Carrie Bradshaw in me, there was quite a bit of heel exposure to go around. The collective of shoes was extremely diverse this season during Paris Fashion Week. From heels, to booties from loafers to sandals; every category of footwear was out to play. Take a look below and see if you can spot a pair that tickles your fancy.

Five Trends to Start Wearing Now!

Now that spring is almost upon us, it’s time to start considering the clothing trends that come with it. I’m super excited because it would appear, (if Vogue, Bazaar, and W magazine are accurate), we’ve got some glorious looks to choose from this season. But rather than list every trend that came out of NYFW this year, I decided to minimize the list to only five of the best trends. So without delay, ere are five trends you should be wearing now! 1. Wide-Leg Trousers-Seen on the runways of BCBG Max Azria & Rosie Assoulin, this trend is a chic throwback to the 40’s. Think of Katherine Hepburn in the Philadelphia Story or Veronica Lake in The Blue Dahlia. The look is perfect for spring and utterly comfortable. Take a cue from the BCBG Max Azria S/S 14′ Collection and pair the look with a crop top and heels. Or, if you would rather go a little more casual, pair the trousers with a fitted blazer, gold jewelry and wedges. 2. Bomber Jackets- This look is …

Designer Spotlight: Hermès Spring 2014 RTW

It usually takes a lot for me to go weak in the knees over a new collection. It usually varies from time to time and is hardly ever consistent. I do know that there has to be a certain, special spark that ignites my fashion sense within; causing me to then foam at the mouth and then collapse. I kid of course. I don’t I’ve actually collapsed over a designer collection but I have hyperventilated…slightly. One of those suddenoments of shock happened to come while I was gazing upon the creations from Hermès Spring 2014 RTW collection.  Models gracefully waltzed down the runway wearing gorgeous ensembles that looked as if they belonged on a 1940’s Hollywood starlet vacationing in the jungle. The show took place in the Orangerie et Jardin du Luxembourg in Paris which definitely set the tone for the luxurious designs, which consisted of relaxed pieces in a beautiful palette of teals, greens, peach, and white. The entire collection was kept uncomplicated and laid-back, with minimal prints here and there. My favorite piece in the entire …
