Three Ways To Wear Mesh!

Now that NYFW has finally started, we can finally get an idea of what will be trending this spring. One look that appears to be evident in most collections is the look of mesh. With a vibe that’s both sporty and sophisticated, this particular trend is by far one of my favorites. But some of you might be a little hesitate as to how you can wear the look without appearing as if your heading to gym class. No need to fret. Incorporating this ultra-chic look into your wardrobe is a lot easier than you might think. It’s all about choosing the right amount of mesh you would like to showcase. After all, you don’t want to look like a fisherman. Above are three examples I’ve complied together on how you can simply include the look into your outfit. Enjoy! They’re now being replaced by more upscale and unusual articles of clothing I would have wrinkled my nose at years ago. I blame it on the numerous articles I have to write a week based on up and coming designers who have clearly had a strong impact on me. But please don’t be mistaken, I would gladly trade in my heels for my boots any day of the week but seeing as I need to make a fabulous impression; my casual style will have to stay put until casual Friday. Seeing as I must be two month’s ahead in time when it comes to writing (I am now working on April’s article) I am well immersed into the trends of Spring. For …

Fashion Spotlight:Janelle Monae

As well as being a sold out artist worldwide, this pint-size performer is also attacking the fashion world. Janelle Monae is no stranger in the fashion industry. Utter her name and the images of Saddle Shoes and Tuxedo’s begin to dance around in your mind. Not only is she talented when it comes to music, fashion seems to be another thing Janelle isn’t afraid to conquer. Her outfits are eccentric yet incredibly inspiring. With dance moves that could make James Brown envious and complete with a flawless and glowing complexion; it’s hard not to visualize why everyone is raving about this wonderous entertainer.
