June Wish-List!

June Wish-List! by sandrarose featuring asos Happy June everyone! June happens to be one of my favorite months because it’s that first month in summer when all possibilities are possible! I always feel once 4th of July is over, so is summer. That’s why I love June because it’s the start of summer and everything feels new and fresh. For this wish-list I kept things a bit simple because that’s pretty much how I love my clothing in summer. It can get extremely hot in the city here in the District so less is always preferred. I keep my fabrics light and patterns minimum. I usually like a lot of whites and nudes with maybe a bit of color thrown in every now and then. Although there are a couple of patterns above, I just couldn’t resist myself. That tribal inspired vest from Zara was just a complete must-have. Enjoy the beginning of summer and always feel free to send me your favorites must-haves for the month of June! xx Sandra Stucco Stripped Dress-Madwell $115 Mirrored Vest-Zara $90 Nude …

One Skirt-Three Ways

One Skirt-Three Ways by sandrarose featuring pendant jewelry Pencil skirts are universally flattering. They make any figure look long and lean paired with a killer set of heels. If only there was a way we ladies could wear them other than for work. Luckily there is. Many woman do not realize that pencil skirts aren’t just for the workplace. There are numerous way you can incorporate this chic piece of clothing into any outfit. That is why I chose a pencil skirt for this week’s One Item-Three Ways. This floral Project D pencil skirt is absolutely perfect for spring as well as summer. Playful– If playful what you’re trying to achieve then there’s really only one rule-have fun! Mix patterns together, add funky jewelry, incorporate bright colors and fun accessories. Just remember when you’re mixing patterns, stay in the same color spectrum. Edgy- Many people think that in order to be edgy, you have to resemble a Black Sabbath member. Fortunately that is not the case. For this look I chose to use a light …

A Classic Favorite: Gloves

A Classic Favorite: Gloves by sandrarose featuring lanvin I’ve recently been in a rut where I’ve been transported back in time to a place where class was visible everywhere you looked. Unfortunately, that time has long gone and has been replaced by something entirely different. Gloves have been a longstanding accessory that always seems to add a bit of flare. I’ll admit with complete embarrassment, whenever I wear leather gloves; I feel a bit like a motorcross racer, bad ass and tough. When the gloves come off, I turn back into a girly and bubbly mess. This particular trend was a big hit at Paris Fashion Week and for good reason. It’s a timeless classic and when worn correctly; can really make a statement. When choosing the right pair, you want to steer clear of looking like a debutant at her coming-out party. Look for pairs that are unique with a bit of attitude. I really like the red Valentino pair above with studs. Whichever pair you decide to go with, there’s no doubt you’ll …
