Winter White’s Dominate The Vanity Fair Oscar Party

If you thought the Academy Awards red carpet was infused with impeccable fashion, then you clearly have a lot to learn. It’s been widely known that the best sartorial looks don’t commence until the Vanity Fair Oscar After Party. Once the show is complete, Hollywood’s finest head over to the after party, in search for a stiff drink and a generally good time. It’s during this time when actresses ditch their formalwear and opt for something a little more relaxed. After all, you can’t exactly showcase your best dance moves in a restricted ball gown.

I like to think of the after party as a sartorial magic show. One moment celebrities are dressed in elaborate dresses and the next, they’re donning something more low key. It was evident that the color palate remained neutral, with white being a fan favorite. Stars such as Natalie Portman, who opted for a sleek Dior number, and Naomi Watts, who went with a Giorgio Armani pantsuit; all looked like sophisticated snow queens. Which look was your favorite?

I am a journalistic enthusiast, born and bred in Washington, D.C. When I'm not busy meticulously constructing posts, I can be found burying my head in an epic novel, cooking a delicious mess in the kitchen, scouring local thrift stores, and spending way too much time binging on Netflix (Arrested Development anyone?). I cannot live without a good playlist (Billy Holiday is preferred), working wifi (sometimes not always working), and Dunkin Donuts coffee (caramel swirl is my go-to flavor).
