Weekend Style Fave: Blake Lively in Gucci

Take one glance at Blake Lively in this Gucci gown at the Cannes Film Festival and you’ll come to realize this female powerhouse has all the making of a Hollywood starlet. She has the grace, poise, and evident style which resembles that of Grace Kelly or Audrey Hepburn. It’s no secret that the former Gossip Girl actress has an immense fashion sense. She simply knocks it out of the park every time she steps onto a red carpet and it only takes one look to understand why.

Lost in Cannes: My Favorite Looks From the Cannes Film Festival

It’s finally that time of year again. The week-long festival in Cannes has arrived, and with major style. I like to think of the Cannes Film Festival as the international equivalent of the Oscars. Every year it appears the foreigners bring their A-game when it comes to the fashion plate. But this year, it appeared my fellow country members did me proud by stepping up their fashion attire as well. My favorite so far would have to be non other than Zoe Saldana. The Rosemary’s Baby star decided to done a green, embellished Jason Wu gown paired with an Edie Parker clutch and Christian Louboutin heels. The entire look was the absolute embodiment of classy and sophisticated. Stroll down to check out the rest of the looks from the festival.

Beauty Products I’m Obsessing Over

Beauty products and me are pretty much joined at the hip. Like a bee drawn to honey, I find myself attracted to the newest products on the market. I look at beauty products as an ideal investment. Just like any designer handbag, beauty products are an investment which should carefully be considered. This month I’m currently obsessing over 10 beauty products which have rightfully earned their place in my “Beauty Bag”. 1. Avene Thermal Spring Water $12- A friend of mine turned me onto this incredible product and I’m glad she did. I cannot get enough of this product! I use it twice a day as a toner, before applying my daily moisturizer. Since using it, my skin looks radiant and dewy ALL THE TIME! 2. Essie Nail Polish in Fashion Playground $8-I’m a huge fan of Essie’s nail polish and this color is the perfect shade for spring and summer. 3. Neutrogena’s Body Oil $7-During the warmer weather, I don’t like using body lotion. Instead I opt for a fast-drying body oil that smells wonderful. This body oil …

Met Gala Gold!

Fashion is universal and it appears everyone has their own take on it. Last night was the annual Met Gala Ball which is pretty much the fashion equivalent of the Oscars. This year, the Met Gala celebrated the newly renovated Anna Wintour Costume Center in NYC and it seemed everyone who mattered was on the attendee’s list. It’s the same every year, fashion’s finest get dolled up and head out in their best custom-made couture. But this year it seemed as if fashion’s finest upped their game once again. Below are just a couple of my favorite’s from the memorable night. Which one tickles your fancy?

My May Wish-List

Happy May followers! If you’re like me, and currently reside in the Northeast; then the arrival of the month of May is indeed something to rejoice about. With the weather finally starting to corporate, I can actually begin to wear all of the items I purchased for the warmer days. For the month of May, I am really feeling the gingham trend, as well as knee-length shorts, (as seen below). I’ve never been a huge fan of the high-waisted shorts that tend to have a problem with gravity. Since I’m something of a tomboy myself, the knee-length short trend couldn’t be more perfect. I’m also a huge fan of oxfords (I currently own five pairs), and blazers, I was extremely excited when I discovered this white, boyfriend-style version from Givenchy. I really adore everything Givenvhy has been doing lately, and their attention to detail, as well as shape; really makes me adore the brand even more.
