Once in a lifetime comes talent as great as that of one Marc Jacobs. Throughout his years at Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs has showered us with nothing but wondrous pieces which are nothing if not original. For his final collection at Louis Vuitton, Jacobs didn’t hold back and it shows in his last ad campaign for the iconic brand. The ad, which was shot by photographer Steven Meisel who has shot for both Italian and American Vogue, features supermodel Gisele Bündchen, actress Catherine Deneuve, and director Sofia Coppola. Shot against an all-black background and featuring pieces from the brand’s Spring 2014 collection; the entire feel for the campaign is dramatic and completely sophisticated; much like Jacob’s himself. But with vision and talent such as this, something tells me Jacob’s will be just fine wherever the road takes him.
