There has been quite the debate when it comes to plaid. Some hate it and others welcome it with open arms. I’ll be the first to admit that it can occasionally be hard to pull the particular trend off without looking like a schoolgirl or Scotsman. But leave it to the fashion devotees of today to find the appropriate way to feature the look without looking like either of the above. Instead, fashion bloggers and fashionistas everywhere seem to have the look down; pairing it with other fall trends such as cable knits or leather. I’m quite the fan of the look. When I was young, I used to hate turtlenecks. The suffocating sensation I’d get while wearing them always bothered me, and I always thought I looked incredibly odd. But between childhood and now, something evidently changed. Now, I seem to gravitate towards the sweater and have a rather large collection. But not everyone shares my love for the turtleneck.
