Giorgio Armani Spring 2014

It may be the start of fall but one look at Armani’s spring 2014 RTW collection, and it’s evidently apparent that spring is back in bloom. Models strode down the runway drenched head to toe in pastel hues, tropical prints, and menswear inspired pieces. It’s not entirely easy to mix the three together but Giorgio does it with such elegance and grace. Looking closely at the details of the collection, it’s difficult not to notice the South American and Hawaiian influences that bring the collection together. Soft, floral blossoms ooze from dresses and blouses while pastel plaids scatter along trousers and blazers.

All that paired with watercolor patterns and it’s evidently clear to see why Giorgio is one of the top talents in the fashion industry. His name is universally known and for good reason. Giorgio understands what a woman wants to wear without being entirely over-the-top.

I am a journalistic enthusiast, born and bred in Washington, D.C. When I'm not busy meticulously constructing posts, I can be found burying my head in an epic novel, cooking a delicious mess in the kitchen, scouring local thrift stores, and spending way too much time binging on Netflix (Arrested Development anyone?). I cannot live without a good playlist (Billy Holiday is preferred), working wifi (sometimes not always working), and Dunkin Donuts coffee (caramel swirl is my go-to flavor). If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to direct them to the email below. Happy Reading!
