Falling for Fall: Tips for Decorating Your Space for Autumn

As we sadly close the chapter on summer, we welcome a new season (preferably my favorite) with open arms. In my opinion, autumn has to be one of the prettiest, if not scenic seasons ever. The foliage mixed with the transformation of the cool weather is undeniably superior. Don’t get me wrong, I love summer, spring and winter but there’s just something quintessentially unforgettable about fall. As the days become shorter and fall makes its annual appearance, you want to make sure that your house, apartment or office looks the part. With just a few tips, you can have your space up and running before September rolls around. The most important part about decorating your space for fall is identifying the appropriate color spectrum for the season. For summer, the color scheme was completely bright and effortless. For fall we’re going to see hues in bold and invigorating shades such as violet, emerald, cobalt, orange, and gold. It would appear that a trend is beginning to arise on the horizon and it’s one that almost every woman could manage to wrap their heads around. It is a look that I would describe as Rustic American meets Sophisticated Ease. Mass amounts of plaid, paired with chunky, …

BEAUTY ALERT: Clinique 2.0-Reinventing a Fan Favorite!

Beauty products come and go, leaving us all to turn to the next best thing on the market. Whether it’s an Anti-Aging cream or the beloved invention of a BB cream; we’re always looking for that one product that will make us fall head over heels. One particular product on the market has been widely popular with consumers for past 45 years that it’s become  the all-time bestselling moisturizer in the U.S. In fact, it’s so highly praised that it’s getting it’s very own upgrade this month. I’m speaking of Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion which has drastically changed the appearance of my skin throughout the years I’ve been using it. Apart of the Clinique 3-step skincare system, it’s by far the best of the three. To be incredibly truthful, this product and I have had quite the on and off again relationship. I would go four months using it then all the sudden I would stop. But in the end, the product would somehow always find its way back to me. I actually started using it when I was just …
