At Last!! That was probably the thought on everyone’s mind when the Duchess of Cambridge finally gave birth to a 8 lb. and 6 oz. baby boy on Monday, July 22. After weeks of the entire world playing the guessing game, it was announced early Monday morning that the Duchess had gone into labor. It wasn’t announced yet if the Duke and Duchess have chosen a name yet but it said that the royal baby will carry the title of “His Royal Highness Prince [name] of Cambridge, (fancy huh?). But all that aside, the real questions at hand is what the little Prince of Cambridge’s wardrobe will consist of.
After, the little Prince does share a birthday with on Oscar de la Renta, one of the most talented designers of all time. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see but until then, here’s a look back on some of the Duchesses best pregnancy style moments. With any luck, the little Prince will no doubt carry after his stylish mother when it comes to choosing outfits.
Throughout her pregnancy, The Duchess donned nothing but the best. For the christening of a Princess Cruise ship in Southampton, England (far right) The Duchess paired a leopard print Hobbs coat, black pumps and a matching hat. For another event in London, The Duchess looked joyful in a yellow coat, nude pumps, matching clutch and a staple headpiece. During a visit to the Naomi House in London, The Duchess paired a peach Tara Jarmon coat with a pastel pink dress and nude clutch and pumps.
For the National Review of Queen’s Scouts at Windsor Castle (far right), The Duchess of Cambridge paired a tweed, mint-green Mulberry coat with nude pumps, clutch and bow adorned fascinator. At the National Portrait Gallery in London (middle), Kate looked timeless in a blue empire-waist Emilia Wickstead dress, suede, grey Rupert Sanderson pumps and teardrop earrings. And lastly, For the inauguration of the new Warner Bros. studio in London (far left), The Duchess looked playful in a polkadot Topshop dress and cropped Ralph Lauren jacket.
