Look for Less: Chloe Spring RTW 2013

My endless love for the Parisian brand Chloe is indescribable. This is why I’ve decided to choose a look from their S/S 2013 collection and not only make it affordable but also my own. I’ve chosen this particular look because it’s fun and perfect for those last couple days of summer. As it’s starting to cool off a bit pants are becoming easier to wear. I personally like mine cropped at the ankle as well as tailored. The pants I chose are from Paul and Joe and they’re probably the most expensive item among the list at $259. I found an almost identical crop top shirt from River Island for only $12 which in my opinion is a complete steal. I chose to ditch the pointed toe flats and opted for these fun sandals from ASOS for only $30. I thought the smidge of yellow really meshed well together with the red and black. I added a simple gold necklace from Topshop and a nude, chain strap purse from a U.K store originally titled Rare London. …

Kate Middleton’s Best Pregnancy Style Moments!

At Last!! That was probably the thought on everyone’s mind when the Duchess of Cambridge finally gave birth to a 8 lb. and 6 oz. baby boy on Monday, July 22. After weeks of the entire world playing the guessing game, it was announced early Monday morning that the Duchess had gone into labor. It wasn’t announced yet if the Duke and Duchess have chosen a name yet but it said that the royal baby will carry the title of “His Royal Highness Prince [name] of Cambridge, (fancy huh?). But all that aside, the real questions at hand is what the little Prince of Cambridge’s wardrobe will consist of. After, the little Prince does share a birthday with on Oscar de la Renta, one of the most talented designers of all time. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see but until then, here’s a look back on some of the Duchesses best pregnancy style moments. With any luck, the little Prince will no doubt carry after his stylish mother when it comes to choosing outfits. Throughout …

Summer Shoes: Flat Sandals

I love a great heel every now and then. I practically rejoice whenever summer rolls around because it’s the time of year when I can take my wedges out of hiding and showcase them to the world once again. But as much as I live for a sky high pair of Louboutin or Manolo’s, they’re not always the most comfortable choice. This season, it would appear as if woman are trading in their heels for a more relaxed alternative; flat sandals. Ranging in countless colors and styles, they’re perfect as well as utterly soothing. Nowadays, woman want to feel comfortable as well as chic and now, they can finally have both. I love to pair my sandals with a floral maxi skirt, billowy blouse and a soft scarf in a fun color. But regardless of however you choose you wear them, you can rest assured your feet will not be killing you by the end of the day which in my opinion, is probably the best feature of all. 1. Zara, $26, 2. SOLSANA, $150, …

Season for Color

It’s no secret that summer is the season for color. It’s the time of year when we dismiss our greys and blacks, trading them in for any bright color we can find. This past spring, every fashion runway from Gucci, Jason Wu to Burberry was bursting with color as models strode down the runway showcasing brightest color ensembles. Whether it’s in the form of a dress, purse, or a pair of chic shoes, it’s no doubt that summer is most definitely the season for color! If you’re not a huge color enthusiast, there’s a simplistic way add color into your wardrobe without going over the top. Add a necklace or a pair of bracelets in a bright shade such as yellow or orange. By doing this your easily adding a pop of color in a subtle way. If you are a huge color devotee, such as myself, then anything pretty much goes. Take a cue from one of the models at the Fendi show (above) and pair a blue dress with an orange trench or merely …
