Flattering Swimwear for Every Figure

Flattering Swimwear for Every Figure
Ah yes, it’s that glorious time again to start shopping for swimwear!  With Memorial Day just around the corner I thought I would showcase some awesome swimwear pieces for every figure. Although it might not be a favorite shopping experience for everyone, once you’ve figure out what looks best on you; it can become quite fun. With some help, you too can look so-so chic in almost anything.
Curvy Girls– You don’t have to be a size 2 to rock some incredible swimwear pieces. You also don’t have to stick with one piece either. Look for halter tops that support your chest as well as flatter it. Black is always slimming but if you do not choose to go with that color choose a cobalt, magenta, or dark red. Also, beware of crazy prints because they will only add more curves which is probably something you want to steer clear from.
Slim and Small Bust Girls- My mom always says I have two backs because I’m flat in the front as well in the back. So with that being said, I’m always searching for items that will give the appearance of curves. Search for prints such as polka dots or stripes. Stripes give the appearance of curves even if you don’t have any. Bandeau tops also are perfect for small bust girls because they flatter your figure as well as giving the appearance of curves.
Busty Girls- Take if from a girl who’s a 32 B, you’re lucky. I’ve always dreamt of the day when my girls would suddenly emerge, unfortunately that day has not arrived yet. For your busty girls, always search for pieces that have underwire for support. Also, halter tops with thicker straps will help immensely as well.
I hope this helped with your search and just remember not to stress to much over it. Everyone isn’t made the same but as long as you know what works best with your figure, it should be easy finding the right items to choose.

I am a journalistic enthusiast, born and bred in Washington, D.C. When I'm not busy meticulously constructing posts, I can be found burying my head in an epic novel, cooking a delicious mess in the kitchen, scouring local thrift stores, and spending way too much time binging on Netflix (Arrested Development anyone?). I cannot live without a good playlist (Billy Holiday is preferred), working wifi (sometimes not always working), and Dunkin Donuts coffee (caramel swirl is my go-to flavor). If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to direct them to the email below. Happy Reading!
