Best Dressed at CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Awards

It’s no secret that I adore fashion. Now that I thing about it, adore might not be the most suitable word. Let’s use worship-yup; sounds entirely better. So it;s no secret that I worship fashion with every being of my soul but when there’s an actual event catered specifically for fashion and every that comes with it; worship once again seems like an unsuitable word.

The CFDA’s kicked off last week and every large name in the fashion industry was present. Wide-eyed and hopeful where designers and models from all over the world dressed head to toe in some of the most chicest creations known to man. Every year, I wait for this event to occur so that I can see which new designer to look out for (Greg Chait) and what fashions everyone dared to wear. It’s like the Oscars only for fashion. This basically means it’s another excuse for everyone to dress up and showcase their style ans taste for fashion.

But just like the Oscars, the CFDA’s have their best and worst dressed list and this year was no different. I personally thought this year was impeccable but then again I pretty love everything which doesn’t make me the best critic. This is why we have pictures so that you yourself can judge who had the best outfit. Of course seeing as I only post things I like, I only posted the best dressed at the CFDA’s. So take a look and simply judge for yourself.

I am a journalistic enthusiast, born and bred in Washington, D.C. When I'm not busy meticulously constructing posts, I can be found burying my head in an epic novel, cooking a delicious mess in the kitchen, scouring local thrift stores, and spending way too much time binging on Netflix (Arrested Development anyone?). I cannot live without a good playlist (Billy Holiday is preferred), working wifi (sometimes not always working), and Dunkin Donuts coffee (caramel swirl is my go-to flavor). If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to direct them to the email below. Happy Reading!
